I do not have a buy it now price and I do not stop auctions early due to offers and do not answer emails asking about exceptions. I realize this train engine has good value but I generally start items low and hope they get lots of bidding - afterall it's an auction.
The side of the box indicates a scale of HOn3, whatever that are - I assume that means HO but perhaps not - the engine is 4 1/2" long.
Condition report: In about the middle of the engine on the right side, there are two thin wires outside of the cylinder deals and one of those wires has come loose from the bottom part it was attached to - I would assume a quick and easy fix for someone into these things. This is what I notice but from here your on your own as once again, the item is not my area of expertise. The box is complete and in overall very good condition with no split seams but does have some knicks and bruises.
One end of the box says, "1979 Made in Japan".
