History: My early childhood was spent growing up in Ansbach Germany as the son of a soldier. On Christmas morning in 1972 I was given this castle and eight figures as a present from my parents. It was purchased from the nearby town of Rothenburg. During future trips to Rothenburg, I would purchase additional figures for my prized castle. In 1977 my father was stationed back to the United States and the castle was carefully packaged and placed in climate controlled storage.
Fast forward to 2003. This castle was unpacked and set up in my spare room as a static display. I purchased additional figures and seige equipment which will all be listed within the next two weeks. I am now 44 and my wife has new plans for our spare room. The castle and accessory pieces are too large to incorporate into our plans.
Rather than boxing up again, it is time for someone else to enjoy this castle.
The castle will be disassembled and carefully packed to ensure safe arrival to you. It is easily reassembled on its base.
I have included many photographs but if you have additional questions, please feel free to email them to me.
Happy Holidays!
